About me

I am a PhD student at the University of Alberta, advised by Marlos C. Machado. Previously, I completed my M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, working with Philip S. Thomas and Scott Niekum. I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

My research focuses on representation learning in reinforcement learning. Specifically, I study incorporating additional information (e.g., reward) into temporal predictive representations (e.g., the successor representation, the Laplacian representation) and its potential benefits in various applications (e.g., option discovery, zero-shot transfer).
